WEBINAR: What I Wish I Knew Before Coming To The University

On 28th November, 2020, we hosted three wonderful people who shared with us some insights into how students can make the best of their time in school. The event was under the auspices of Stephen Awuah-Pobi, the Campus Ambassador for the University of Ghana -Legion. Our guests on the day were:

Mr. Manuel Koranteng

Manuel Koranteng is a hardworking journalist with interest in Law, human rights and gender issues.

While studying for his degree in political science and Philosophy from the University of Ghana, he dedicated his time to converting his passion for journalism into tangible practice by volunteering the whole 4 years at Radio Univers 105.7fm. This won him the enviable award of NUGS Student Journalist of The Year, 2019.

He rose to become a morning show host on the campus radio station while stringing for other local and international media houses including the BBC in UK, TV5Monde in France, and Joy News in Ghana where he currently works.

Miss Mercy Hill

Mercy Hill is a Journalist, Photographer & Founder of “Let’s Save Her Initiative.”

She holds a B.A. Degree in Theatre and Performing Arts from the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria.

She is currently having her Master’s Degree in Mass Communication at the Nnamdi Azikwe University, Awka, Anambra State, Nigeria.

Mr. Enock Yeboah

Enock Yeboah is a Social Activist, Leader, Life Coach, Accounting Expert and a politician.

He is a graduate of Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST). While in school he held several positions, including serving as the president of the KNUST Business School as well as being the campus ambassador for Youth Opportunities.
