
The Ghana Tertiary Minds (GTM) wishes to inform its members and the general public about the launch of one of its Flagship Programs, the Career Growth Program (GCGP), whose implementation shall begin on 1st September, 2022.
As part of our mission to groom and build the capacities of our members to become exceptional tools for societal development, the GTM Career Growth Program shall employ comprehensive career development sessions to engineer the holistic career development of our members.
All modules of the program shall comprise of two phases:
- Career Growth Assessment
- Mentorship
PHASE 1: The first phase involves an evaluation of a person’s career level and professional attitude. This is to give our coaches/mentors a fair idea of what state and stage the person is in their career or professional life. Also, having in mind the impact of a person’s social life on their career, and the digital era dynamics in the modern youth’s career, this module captures a wide range of relevant social and digital items as well.
PHASE 2: The second phase of the Career Growth Program encompasses all career coaching approaches and methodologies that can help ameliorate the career of our members. It includes counselling, recommendations, mentorship, and any relevant activities that can make the career and overall life of our members better and purposeful.
Meanwhile, we understand the limitedness of our member’s time, as some of them might still be in school with very tight academic schedules, or are involved in other engagements. For this reason, our Career Growth Program is programmed in a manner which is as flexible as possible for our members. This is to ensure that our members experience the growth impact of the program with minimal effect on their time. With this program, new members will feel our peculiarity right from the first day they join us.
