CAREER CONFERENCE 2023

The Tertiary Minds – Ghana (TMG) Career Conference is a program designed to bring together tertiary students and graduates from various career fields to learn and exchange ideas relating to their career development. The 3-day residential program shall bring together over 200 youth of varying academic, ethnic, religious and cultural background across Ghana.

The program is aimed at building and developing the professional competencies of tertiary students and young graduates in Ghana to meet the 21st century job market demands. The focus of the Career Conference is to provide participants with self-development and leadership training through lectures, seminars, workshops, dialogues, team-building, entrepreneurship group project.

Venue: University of Ghana, Legon.

ELIGIBILITIES

  • Be a youth between ages 18 and 35 years.
  • Have the ability to read and write (English language).
  • Have ability to fund camp fee.
  • Be interested in personal career development.
  • Be interested in societal change and development.

CAMP FEES

  • Non-Residents: GH ₵ 180 (covers all costs apart from accommodation).
  • Regular Resident (GH₵ 300): Covers registration, shared accommodation –4 in a room, conference materials and meals for the camp duration.
  • Premium Resident: GH₵ 380 (covers registration, accommodation –2 in a room, conference materials and meals for the camp duration).
  • Premium Plus Resident: GH₵ 500 (covers registration, accommodation –1 in a room, conference materials and meals for the camp duration).

APPLICATION PROCESS

NB: Camp materials to be received by every participant include the Career Conference 2023 shirt, a brochure, notepad, pen & participant tag. Each participant shall also receive a Certificate of Participation at the end of the event.
